Trump and Israel Lied to Restart the Iran War
I thought they "obliterated" Iran's nuclear sites?
Eight months ago Trump and Israel bombed Iran’s nuclear facilities and declared Iran’s nuclear program (which is not yet a weapons program) “completely obliterated”.
Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said the strikes caused maximum damage and set the program back “years”.
An ISIS report confirmed that:
The main nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan were largely destroyed and have seen little significant activity since the war. The activities at Fordow to the extent visible appear to have been mainly related to damage assessments and minimal clean up. At Natanz, activities also point towards protecting the site’s remaining utilities against future attacks. Overall, satellite imagery indicates that Iran’s uranium enrichment program remains significantly set back. At present, Iran does not appear able to enrich uranium in any significant manner or make gas centrifuges in significant numbers. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities, its facility to produce uranium hexafluoride (UF6) and its centrifuge manufacturing and research and development facilities remain severely damaged or destroyed.
National intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard gave testimony before congress saying that Iran has not attempted to rebuild the facilities since the operation.
So if that’s true, what the hell was the reason for invading a second time? Trump cited “nuclear weapons” again to justify his second attack in March 2026. Netanyahu continues peddling the fiction that they’re “months away” from a nuke and that the facilities in question were not sufficiently destroyed.
Seeing this contradiction, Trump invoked new excuses like Iran’s ballistic missile program and then made up complete nonsense that Iran was planning an imminent attack on the US homeland. Nothing backs that up and much refutes it.
Pentagon officials briefed members of congress that there was “no sign” of a planned Iranian attack on US targets either in the Middle East or on the homeland.
Trump administration officials acknowledged in closed-door briefings with congressional staff on Sunday that there was no intelligence suggesting Iran planned to attack U.S. forces first… Pentagon officials briefed Democratic and Republican staff of several national security committees... In the briefings, administration officials emphasized that Iran’s ballistic missiles and proxy forces in the region posed an imminent threat to U.S. interests, but there was no intelligence about Tehran attacking U.S. forces first, the two sources, speaking on condition of anonymity. U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that Iran will soon have a missile that can hit the United States is not backed by U.S. intelligence reports, and appears to be exaggerated, according to three sources familiar with the reports.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Trump was convinced to attack Iran last June by Bibi Netanyahu and Ron Dermer.
It took a whole week for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer to convince US President Donald Trump to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. “Four days ago, there was a phone call between Netanyahu and the US president, during which Trump said, ‘I’ve decided to launch a strike,’” an Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post. Since Israel began attacking nuclear sites and other targets inside Iran about a week and a half ago, Netanyahu and Trump have spoken almost daily. According to both Israeli and US sources, the US president, along with senior US officials, was impressed by Israel’s success. “Without Israel’s achievements and the results of its operation, the American president would never have even considered joining the strike,” the sources said.
Trump explicitly cited protecting Israel as one of his main reasons for the attack.
The second attack was the same deal, with Zionist Jew Jared Kushner joining the Israeli chorus to encourage Trump to attack Iran again.
Trump’s national security inner circle is stacked with Jewish and Christian Zionists like Rubio, Hegseth, Kusher, Witkoff, etc.
Trump dispatched two partisan Jews - Witkoff and Kushner - to engage in bad faith “negotiations” with the Iranians in which they didn’t even bring technical experts familiar with nuclear weapons production. Keith Woods reported that Witkoff mangled an Iranian proposal to keep a civilian site open in exchange for diluting their enriched uranium.
It appears Witkoff either deliberately misled Trump or is a complete idiot. Not bringing experts to the discussions demonstrates that it was a sham from the start and there was never any intention to reach an agreement.
Marco Rubio admitted that the Israelis sucked the US into the war again. Rubio presented no evidence that Iran would have responded to Israeli attacks with attacks on American sites.
That’s not logical. Iran probably would have focused on Israel, not wanting to draw the more powerful US into the conflict. Trump even cited the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel as part of his war justification to go in the second time.
As I’ve pointed out before, this is absurd because Qatar is one of the principal financiers of Hamas and yet nobody is saying that Qatar should be invaded and their leadership killed to avenge October 7. When coupled with Netanyahu’s approval of Qatari funding to Hamas, the whole sham falls apart.
It is becoming common knowledge that Israel, when it was governing Gaza in the 80s, provided financial and other types of support to Hamas as a way to split the West Bank and Gaza and prevent the emergence of a unified Palestinian state.
JD Vance more or less confirmed that Netanyahu dragged them in by confronting him in a phone call about “overselling” the ease of regime change.
It’s beyond obvious that this whole thing is a giant favour for Israel. That “nuclear weapons” and the other hyped nonsense is an excuse for a regime change long in the works.
Iran is by no means a benevolent regime. I don’t want this to come across as “shilling” for Iran because that’s not what it is. They killed thousands of their own people during protests a few months ago. They helped Russia kill Ukrainians with Shahed drones. They’re a double-dealing power. But so is every major power. Trump’s war pretext is comically weak and this appears to be yet another Israel First war to help Tel Aviv achieve total regional domination, if not superpower status.
